wakemanjj2@hotmail.com BioMy name is Steven Wakeman. My life is surrendered to Jesus Christ, and I have been crucified and raised with Him into a new life. I am devoted to knowing God intimately and making Him known throughout the world. I met my wife, Kristina, at Bethany College of Missions, where we both graduated with a degree in Bible and Missions. In preparation for full-time missionary service, I am working on my Masters of Divinity at Columbia Biblical Seminary and School of Missions, where I am learning how to interpret and teach the Bible in its original languages of Greek and Hebrew. Our long term goal is to help Wycliffe teams translate the Bible into languages that are unfamiliar with God's Word. My past mission work has included trips to Turkey, Tanzania, and Italy. In high school, I was heavily involved in the youth group at South Hill Bible Church in my hometown of Spokane, WA and was employed at McDonald's for two years. In the past I was involved in the Jazz Jackrabbit 2 community, and I have enjoyed creating/updating websites as a hobby.
